Yellow Morel in the Pasture - Carberry, Manitoba, Canada.  Quite warm this week 30°+. Rain just as hunt ended. Then storm followed. Only found one – first hunt, and rushed! Under a dead tree (species tbd – photo). We’ll go back to look for more tomorrow. Thankful to have 100 acres of trees pasture at my parents. Excited to find (one) on the first (very quick) try! Used “picture mushroom” app to confirm a yellow morel.
